Legal
Terms
1. Scope
These terms of use govern the use of the PeptideJury website (“PeptideJury” or “we”) by visitors and registered users. By using the website, you agree to these terms. The operator is named in the imprint.
2. Description of service
PeptideJury is an information and reputation platform that combines publicly available signals and user-submitted experience reports about vendors into a trust score. PeptideJury is not a shop, not a payment provider, does not broker purchase or sale transactions, and does not provide medical, pharmaceutical, or legal advice. Any statements about products or their effects are solely part of reproduced user reports and do not represent a recommendation or endorsement by PeptideJury.
3. Registration and user account
Certain features require registration. You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent it is attributable to you. There is no entitlement to registration.
4. Community content
When you submit an experience report or other content, you confirm that it is truthful, based on your own experience, and does not infringe the rights of third parties. You grant PeptideJury a simple, worldwide, non-exclusive right to publish, display, and process the content you submit for determining the trust score, for as long as needed for the platform’s purpose. Submitted experience reports are moderated before publication; there is no entitlement to publication of any specific content.
5. Prohibited content and conduct
The following are prohibited in particular: knowingly false statements of fact; abusive, defamatory, or discriminatory content; infringement of third parties’ personality, trademark, or copyright rights; abusive repeated submissions intended to manipulate a trust score; and automated access (scraping, bots) outside the interfaces we provide.
6. Moderation and removal of content
We reserve the right to review submitted content before publication, to reject it, or to remove it afterward, in particular where it violates these terms or applicable law. Affected vendors may request review of an entry via our entry dispute form.
7. No substitute for your own diligence; disclaimer regarding the trust score
The trust score and the signals shown are based on automated and editorial analysis of available information and are not a guarantee of a vendor’s or offer’s legitimacy, reliability, or legality. They do not replace your own due diligence before a transaction. PeptideJury accepts no liability for decisions made on the basis of the information provided.
8. Intellectual property
The website’s content (layout, software, database structure, trust engine) is protected by copyright. Reproduction, distribution, or reuse beyond private use requires our prior consent.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and under the applicable product liability law. For simple negligence, we are liable only for breach of a material contractual obligation, and limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Liability is otherwise excluded. The above limitations do not apply to injury to life, body, or health.
10. Termination and suspension
You may terminate your user account at any time through your account settings or by writing to support@peptidejury.com. We may suspend or delete accounts for material or repeated violations of these terms.
11. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms of use with future effect, for example when the scope of features or the legal situation changes. We will inform registered users of material changes in a suitable manner. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Final provisions
These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country of your habitual residence remain unaffected. Should any provision of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
